Course Name: Registered Chainsaw Proficiency Course

Location: Owls Nest Campground, 20 Ave & 8 Street, Coaldale, Alberta
Available As a 2-Day or 3-Day Course.
2-Day Course Includes:
Day 1 – Awareness: cut timbers, pvc &poly pipe, repair fencing used by equipment operators,
construction workers and maintenance personnel that may have to use a chainsaw.
Day 2 – Basic: buck limb trees, remove blow down and hung up
trees. used by highway workers, parks employees, arborists, utility
grounds workers, wild land fire fighters.
3-Day Course Includes:

Day 3 – Intermediate: Introductory to felling trees, use of wedges, ropes, felling
tools. Used by all who need to fell trees safely.
